Victim named in Worth Co. crash

Investigators with Georgia State Patrol are investigating a crash that killed a woman and injured three others.

Officials said the crash happened on Cochran Road in Worth County around 12:40 a.m. Friday. 21-year-old Lauryn Goodman died in the crash.

According to a report, Goodman, who was one of three passengers in the car, were traveling on the dirt road while the driver was driving erratically.

The car lost control and then rolled over, partially ejecting Goodman. The other three people in the car were hurt, but their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

GSP said nobody in the car was wearing a seatbelt, and that alcohol and drugs were a factor in the crash.

Investigators said the driver of the vehicle is expected to be charged.
