VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The Tree House resale shop in Valdosta, whose proceeds benefit the Langdale Hospice House in Valdosta and Hospice of South Georgia, has had a very successful first year and is looking forward to even more success in the future.

The executive director of Langdale Hospice House and Hospice of South Georgia, Susan Bowden, said the resale shop is a vital part of caring for their patients.

"The profits from the Tree House have helped us underwrite expenses of patient care that we provide here in the Langdale Hospice House," Bowden explained.

In honor of the success, the Langdale Hospice House will be holding a celebration at the Tree House resale shop on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. Hot dogs and boiled peanuts will be available.
