Police arrest two in entering autos cases

 Albany Police have arrested two men they say were connected to entering autos cases going back to March.

Willie Slaughter, 41, and Michael Campbell, 45 were charged with one count of entering autos. Slaughter was also charged with three counts of financial transaction fraud.

The two were arrested on June 8th.

According to a report, police said the two took a purse from a vehicle at Tony's Gym in Albany and then made purchases at Rite-Aid and Walgreens.

Police also said the two stole a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix. A report said the car was stolen from Club Legend in East Albany. It was later located in the 900 block of Cherry Avenue.

Detectives are working on determine if the two are connected to any additional cases.
