BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -

If the temperature reaches 99º or higher, some folks could earn themselves a refund on their recent jewelry purchase.

As part of their beat the heat temperature promotion, anyone that purchased jewelry from Godwin Jewelers in Bainbridge from June 1st through June 27th could get their money back if the temperature at Tallahassee airport hits the 99º mark.

The owner Ronnie Godwin says he is looking forward to issuing a refund to all customers.

"We want to give away refunds, and we will have a really large refund party if it happens, invitation only, to everyone who made a purchase during this sales period."

This is their second year running the promotion, last year the temperature didn't hit the 99º mark.
