ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia's Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens says his office is ready to help consumers with claims linked to an anticipated tropical storm.

Hudgens said Tuesday that his office will offer a toll-free claims assistance line staffed with local insurance experts to help Georgians bounce back from any damage from Tropical Storm Arthur.

Hudgens says consumers should make copies of their insurance policies and take inventory of their personal belongings.

Hudgens says his office also plans to send claims experts to impacted areas if severe weather hits Georgia.
