LEE CO., GA (WALB) -

Lee County Sheriff's investigators are trying to figure out who bound and robbed a woman at her home Wednesday night.

Officials have not yet released the victim's name.

Sheriff Reggie Rachels said two men ran up to the woman as she got out of her car in the 800 block of Highway 118 East of Smithville.

Investigators said they bound her arms, stole her wedding ring, Made threats against the woman's husband, threw her into some bushes, then ran away.

The victim managed to free herself and call for help.
