Deputies with Tift County Sheriff's office say one man is in custody after he led them on a high speed chase.

Johnathan Ray Kelley, 22, of Tifton is charged with a long list of offenses, including Hit and Run and Aggravated Assault.

According to a report, deputies responded to Cherry Street in Ty Ty in response to a vehicle driving reckless and shots fired.

Officials found the vehicle and recorded its speed at more than 100 miles per hour on radar.

Deputies pursued Kelley through Ty Ty, where he rammed a patrol car.

The chase ended after Kelley drove through a cotton field and his vehicle over heated.

He was arrested and later booked in to the Tift County Jail.
