The Albany Police are investigating more than a half dozen mailboxes that were vandalized early Wednesday morning.
Police filed at least seven incident reports on mailboxes that were vandalized on Partridge, Pheasant, and Meadowlark Drives.
The boxes were mostly knocked off of wooden posts sometime around 5 to 6 AM.
Pam Middleton said she has no idea who would want to break her mailbox, or why.
"I don't have any idea. I think it obviously does no one any good. So a prank. I hate to say the word initiation. I have no idea."
Middleton said she thought her husband could repair their mailbox.
