Valdosta Police have issued arrest warrants for 24 year-old Malcolm Noel Holsendolph, of Valdosta.

Police believe he is the suspect in a domestic dispute turned robbery at the Walmart on Inner Perimeter Road Tuesday night.

According to police, 21-year-old Jhalisa Austin was outside the Walmart when she saw her ex-boyfriend, Malcolm Noel Holsendolph, walking towards her. She went into the store to get away from him, but he followed her and drug her back outside the store.

"He actually picked her up and carried her outside," explained Valdosta Police Department Lieutenant Aaron Kirk. "During the altercation, I believe he grabbed her glasses off her face and scratched her. Also, [he] took her car keys from her hand and left in her vehicle."

Kirk said it's unclear exactly what led to the dispute. Police were able to locate the stolen vehicle a short time later near Holsendolph's residence but they were not able to locate Holsendolph.

Holsendolph is currently charged with kidnapping, robbery, battery, and theft by taking. Anyone with any information about Holsendolph's whereabouts are asked to call Valdosta Police at 229-293-3145.
