Single mom needs help to recover from fire

BROXTON, GA (WALB) -

Deanna Selph's mobile home in Broxton was destroyed by fire last Thursday. The single mother, her daughter and her autistic son are okay, but they don't have much left.

Selph said, "You can't tell, you know, from the front that it is, but my daughter's room and my son's room, all their stuff got destroyed."

The Red Cross and neighbors are collecting clothes, toys and supplies.

They need women's medium shirts. You can also donate women's pants in sizes 8, 9 and 10, and size 6 and 8 1/2 shoes.

Selph's son needs medium shirts, size 8 pants, and boys size 3 to 3 1/2 shoes.

You can take donations to the Gordon Street Fire Department or call Larry NeSmith with the American Red Cross at 912-393-4051.
