ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

You can help create a museum exhibit to remember the 20th anniversary of the Flood of 94.

The exhibit will open at Thronateeska Heritage Center on July 11th.

It will show the path Tropical Storm Alberto took in early July of 1994 as well as ways to prepare for a disaster.

The center is also asking for the public's help in one special display.

"We are asking the public to participate in what we're calling the 'Flood of Memories' where you are sharing your stories," said Archives and Collections Manager Teresa Smith. If it was photographs or video footage, we're asking you to bring that on July 11th as well, and we'll post your experiences and how the flood affected you personally."

The exhibit will be open from July 11th through the rest of the summer, Thursdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

For information call (229) 432-6955.
