THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -
A south Georgia boy is back from a special camp put on by wounded warriors.
8-year old Steven Kazemekas attended the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team's kids camp in Louisville, Kentucky. He went on field trips and got softball lessons from wounded warriors.
The camp ended with a big game where the campers competed against one another. "They taught me how to catch the right way, I learned a lot of things that I plan to practice at home with my brother, and father," said Kazemekas.
Steven's team didn't win the big game, but he says he had a lot of fun playing.
