An east Albany trailer park that has been getting some bad press is getting a face lift.

For the second time in three weeks, drug agents raided a home at Main Street Estates Thursday.

Darrel Ealum purchased the property a couple of months ago and vows to clean it up. He says the area is a gateway to the city, and he wants a property Albany can be proud of.

He says he'll start with the pot holes.

"I saw you all bumping down the road," said Ealum. "This is the worst section so we're gonna go in and get the road repaired. We'll do it in sections- we'll probably attack it here first and there's a B and C section."

Ealum is also removing old mobile homes and putting in new ones that people can buy.

He says he has remodeled 5 other similar properties, and he says this project could take 5 years to complete.
