Agents make drug bust at trailer park

Albany drug agents have arrested two men in a drug raid at Main Street Estates mobile home park, at the corner of North Mock Road and Clark Avenue.

They have seized two ounces of crack cocaine, $2,000 in cash, paraphernalia, and documents. Agents say this is the second time in three weeks that they have raided two side-by-side trailers in this park.

"Yes, in the last three weeks we hit the trailer right behind me.  And got cocaine, crack, and arrested about four people on that.  Most of those were on warrants, stuff like that, and a couple of them had drug charges," said A.D.D.U. Commander Major Bill Berry.

About 4:00 Thursday afternoon 61 year old Marvin Evans was led in handcuffs from the mobile home in the Main Street Estates at Cordele and Mock Roads.

Also arrested was 43 year old James Green.  Both were charged with trafficking cocaine.

Agents also charged Evans with possession of dangerous controlled substances, which were prescription pills and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
