SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) -

Johnny James Curry, 29, was arrested Thursday morning by Sylvester police officers on outstanding warrants for Burglary, Obstruction of officers, and escape.

He ran from police officers when he was spotted Houston street and Park Street, but was quickly apprehended.

Curry has been on the run since April 28th 2014 when he escaped from Sylvester Police Department Booking room.

He is now in the Worth County Jail with additional charges of Obstruction of officers and Criminal Damage to property in the second degree.
