ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Firefighters are warning people in the West Gordon area about a possible rabid fox, that charged one of their employees Tuesday night.

Chief James Carswell reports firefighters at Fire Station #4 on  West Gordon near Westover Road spotted a fox circling the building about 7:00 Tuesday night.

They said the fox was aggressive, and charged one of the employees when they went outside. The fox then ran off. 

Fire officials reported the incident to animal control and the Department of Natural Resources. 

Firefighters wanted to warn people in the area.
