A Dougherty County convenience store is once again hit by smash & grab crooks.

Around 3 o'clock Monday morning Dougherty County Police officers found a glass window shattered at the Pitt Stop on Sylvester Road.

The alarm went off at the business and when police arrived, the burglar or burglars had left the scene.

It wasn't clear what was taken from the store which has been burglarized and robbed several times in recent years.

We are checking to see if surveillance cameras capture the crime on tape.
