TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

Tift County Sheriff's Investigators are waiting to look at the surveillance video of an armed robbery at convenience store.

Investigators say an armed man wearing a hoodie, mask and gloves entered the Chevron at 3119 South Central Avenue around eleven o'clock Thursday.

The clerk put all of the money in the cash register into a bag and then suspect ran out of the store.

"He held the three workers at gunpoint. Took the cash from the register. Actually had them place the cash in a bag," said  Lt. Col. Robert Brannen of the Tift Co. Sheriff's Office.

Anyone information about this holdup is asked to call the Tift County Sheriff's Department at 229-388-6025.
