Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff's Office greeted customers at Chick-Fil-A on Highway 19 Thursday night.
The Sheriff hopes by reaching out and interacting with the people they serve, his officers will build better relations with the community and help prevent and solve crimes.
"They see that we are open to just coming out here and being available to talk at anytime," said Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals. "That's what we are here for."
Albany Police held a similar event last week at the Chick-Fil-A on Dawson Road.
