Levi's Call canceled

Law enforcement agencies in Worth and Dougherty Counties are on the looking for a blue Chevrolet van that may be involved in the abduction of two boys in Duluth Thursday morning.

But the alert was canceled by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters just before 1:00 Friday morning.

Worth County Sheriff Jeff Hobby says two boys about, 9 and 10 years in age, spotted a blue van in Sylvester that matches the description given in a Levi's Call for 10-year old Zailan Blue and 14-year old Jaquez Blue.

Duluth Police believe the brothers were taken by their father 55-year old John Blue.

Sheriff Hobby says the boys in Sylvester took a photo of the van near the intersection of U.S. Highway 82 and Georgia Highway 33.

The boys could not give a description of the driver and did not see the license tag.

Sheriff Hobby says he issued the lookout as a precautionary measure.

Dougherty County Police have not seen a van matching that description but do a have a car on patrol in the area near the Worth County line.

Duluth Police say the boys and their father were last seen driving south on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Atlanta.

The van is a 2000 Blue Chevy Van with tag number PIQ9426.

If anyone sees the van, you are asked to call 911 or your local law enforcement agency immediately.
