Sycamore, GA (WALB) -

Two Sycamore men are competing for a chance to win$50,000 in a barbecue cook-off.

Ashburn Fire Chief Robby Royal and restaurant owner Raymond Poore are in the finale of Barbecue Pitmasters on Destination America.

The competition started with 18 teams, and the Rescue Smokers have made it to the final two. No matter the outcome Saturday night, Royal says they have achieved their dream.

"This would be the icing on the top. We fulfilled our barbecue bucket list. We are living the barbecue dream by even being on Barbecue Pitmasters," said Royal.

The team will have a viewing party Saturday at Poore's restaurant, Rescue's Smokehouse grill, at 9 o'clock in Ashburn. Both men added that the process has been very fun, no matter the outcome.
