MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC) - Investigators charged two men in connection to a robbery in which a 6-month-old child was held at gunpoint.

Ledarius Thomas, 22, and Rodney Robinson, 22, are accused of following a 23-year-old woman home from a gas station. The two armed men forced her inside an apartment, were several others were inside.

"I just break down and cry because it happened," the woman, who wished to remain unidentified, told WMC Action News 5. "It could've gone the other way. Everybody could've got shot. Everybody could've been dead."

Thomas and Robinson demanded money while pointing a gun at the baby's head. The woman said the men asked for the keys to the car.

Police say the suspects then attacked a 36-year-old man walking to his truck, taking his wallet and cell phone.

Police announced Thursday that both men are charged with aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated robbery, and aggravated assault. More charges are expected in this ongoing investigation.

Family members of the victims say a third person was involved and drove a getaway car.
