Hello, I am Senator Freddie Powell Sims, with a guest editorial.
Political campaigns for the most part should bring out a candidate's best ethical behavior. But Voters Beware!
A small percentage of office seekers will say and do anything to get elected.
Recently residents in Albany's Westtown area were told they must re-register before voting in the runoff elections or November's general election.
This is absolutely not true.
In fact, it is extremely misleading and destructive politics.
This display of deception has no place in our communities.
If you are registered to vote, there is nothing standing in the way of you voting in the July runoff elections or the November general election.
And if you ever are in doubt, contact your local voter registration offices.
See you at the polls!
