ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Douglas, Georgia-based Sydney Bryant Films is shooting its newest movie, "Surrender" in South Georgia. They will be in full swing Saturday in Fitzgerald, shooting several stunts that will look real.

The producers want to alert the public about the filming and the stunts for safety reasons, and so that no one will be alarmed.

"Surrender" will be performing stunts in the city of Fitzgerald and will include police sirens, simulated gunfire, simulated explosions, smoke effects, car chases, and foot chases.

The producers say that Fitzgerald Police and Fire Departments have been informed and will be on site.

The shooting begins today, at the Fitzgerald Utility Center.

They will continue on Tuesday June 17, on Pine Street, Thursday June 19, at Fitzgerald High School, Saturday June 28, back on Pine Street between Grant and Sherman, and Sunday July 6, at the Fitzgerald Municipal Airport.
