CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Crisp County Sheriff's deputies and Cordele Police officers are looking for a second suspect in a multi-county theft ring.

Sheriff Billy Hancock says Justin Pate was spotted at 16th Avenue and Greer Street just after 12:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies got tips that a man matching Pate's description was walking around Walmart and Tractor Supply but they didn't find him.

"We deployed our K-9 unit and from there he was able to pick up a possible track. We came in contact with some railroad workers and they said they had not seen him come through, so the track kind of ended at that point, said Sgt. Ben Bray.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance video to confirm whether Pate was in the area.

Hancock says the Wilcox County Sheriff's Office has taken warrants against Pate charging him with burglary.

Investigators in Crisp, Wilcox County and Dooly Counties believe Pate and Daniel McGee were responsible for eight burglaries and two thefts between May 22-June 3.

Sheriff Hancock says Justin Pate has tattoos on both arms.

If anyone believes they see him, they are asked to call the Crisp County Sheriff's Office or the Cordele Police Department.
