Albany ARC renames facility after Annette Bowling

The Albany Advocacy Resource Center renames one of its facilities after its most ardent supporter.

The building on Old Dawson Road is now named the Albany ARC Annette Bowling Campus.      Bowling dedicated most of her adult life to helping South Georgians with disabilities and recently retired after serving as the Albany ARC's Executive Director for 40-years.

"It's such a humbling experience to know that all of the work that I've done is going to be honored forever and ever with the building being named after me," said Annette Bowling, Retired Executive Director.

The 11,000 square foot facility is an administrative building to support ARC programs. Albany ARC was founded 50-years ago. Susan Trueblood is the new executive director.
