ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany man is arrested and charged with breaking into several cars and businesses in recent months.

Willie Tinch was arrested late last week. One of the trucks he is charged with breaking into belongs to AATCO Transmission shop owner Don Dellinger.

In March someone broke into his truck parked outside his business, and stole 3 tool bags.

Dellinger said with all the burglaries and entering autos in Albany, he is glad police have charged someone for breaking into his. Kind of gives you a little ease.

Because I don't have to sit and worry about somebody watching my truck.  Knowing what I keep in it.  So not off my guard, but I can relax a little bit.

Dellinger said police told him they know where Tinch admits selling his tools, but he has no hope that he will ever get them back.  Tinch is being held in the Dougherty County jail.
