ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany man who pled guilty to leading drug agents on a high speed chase, and then after entering that plea was arrested on drug charges again, is sentenced to serve 15 years in prison.

29 year old Vincent Jackson Monday afternoon was given a 15 year prison sentence after his February guilty plea for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute firearms, and eluding police charges.

Jackson admitted he was behind the wheel of this SUV, going more than 80 miles per hour through crowded Albany streets, running from drug agents.

He jumped out of the vehicle while it was still moving, and it crashed into a light pole, which fell and nearly hit a woman.

Last week Jackson was arrested at the Sports Zone police say he had more than a half pound of marijuana on him.
