    An overnight crash involving semi truck turned deadly on Interstate 75 in Crisp County.According to Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock, a car suffered a blowout and came to a rest in the traffic lane of I-75 south near exit 94.While awaiting assistance from a deputy, a tractor trailer slammed into the back of the car. The driver was thrown from the vehicle and killed.It happened around 1:45 AM.The truck driver was not seriously injured.The Georgia State Patrol and the GDOT are investigating.T...More >>

OCILLA, GA (WALB) -

Irwin County Sheriff's investigators are still working to identify the second suspect in an attempted burglary Monday afternoon.

Investigators say Gregory Bernard Bryant has been charged with burglary.

Bryant was arrested during at traffic stop Tuesday night in Coffee County.

Investigators say Bryant was one of two men seen leaving a home on Lotus Drive in Irwin County Monday afternoon.

The grandson of the homeowner noticed a suspicious car parked at the house and turned in the driveway to investigate.

The grandson chased the suspects' in their car and shot out one of the tires on the car.

The two suspects ran into the woods near Smith Cemetery Road and Wray-Ambrose Road.

That led to a ground and air search Monday night near the Irwin/Coffee County line that was called off just before 12:00 a.m. Tuesday.
