ALBANY, GA - (WALB) -

From MCLB-Albany Public Affairs Office

MCLB Albany's annual Buddy Fishing Tournament is scheduled to take place at Covella Pond
Saturday, June 7 from 8:00–10:30 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

he tournament is for children ages 15 and younger, accompanied by an adult. 

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. the day of the event.

No license is required for this event and the children must do all of the fishing.

In addition, children get to keep all the fish they catch.

Trophies will be awarded to both boys and girls for biggest catfish and most catfish following the event.
