Police are investigating the death of a man in Clay County after his body was found in the road Thursday morning.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Marcus Ellington's body was found around 9:30 a.m. and initially reported to officers.
Investigators said they are treating the death as a homicide. An exact age for Ellington was not immediately available, but officials said he was in his mid to late 20's.
A cause of death has not been determined.
