MACON, Ga. (AP) - Authorities searching for a woman who had been reported missing in central Georgia found a decomposing body in the woods.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Todd Lowery said the body was discovered Tuesday afternoon in the area of south Dodge County where the missing woman last seen.

Lowery tells The Telegraph (http://bit.ly/1mpwyNa) that the missing woman, whose name was not immediately available, had been reported missing Friday.

As of Tuesday evening, the body had not been identified.

The area where it was found is about 60 miles southeast of Macon.
