ASU summer students attend orientation

Albany State is ready for the summer term tomorrow and will welcome some new faces.

The summer session will be the first on campus for 50 students who underwent orientation Tuesday.

The new students were busy with registration, meeting with their academic advisers and learning where everything is located on campus.

The new Rams say they chose ASU because of the intimate learning environment.

"Everyone's really friendly; everyone seems to be really close knit. It's a really small environment so you get to know the people, network," said Jessica Miracle, Early Childhood Education transfer student.

Summer classes begin Wednesday at Albany State University.
