VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

The city of Valdosta is taking advantage of less traffic during the Summer to make needed road repairs.

Crews spent time Tuesday patching pot holes along North Forrest Street in front of Valdosta High School. Crews plan to make some repairs to roads in other school zones and throughout the city during the Summer.

"We have a list of areas that we've identified, city management and citizens, and we want to get as many as we can during the Summer time," Kevin Tolliver, a senior project engineer for the city of Valdosta, said.

The repairs along North Forrest Street will continue through most of next week.
