ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Police Department says Gwanatisha Solomon was driving the vehicle that struck two youngsters Saturday night on South Slappey Boulevard.

Police say that Solomon was driving a white 2003 Buick Century, in that incident, and they have interviewed her and cited her for Driving without a License and Leaving the scene of an accident.

Solomon said that she was traveling south on South Slappey Boulevard when a group of boys ran out in front of the car. She stated that after impact, she left the scene and drove the car back to the owner who lives in the 2400 block of Habersham.

Camryn Mitchell and Nalijah Miller suffered multiple injuries during Saturday night's hit and run. Both their families want justice and for the driver to come forward.
