LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -

A six year old Americus boy will get his dream vacation thanks to the Make a Wish Foundation.

Six-year-old Brandon Mendoza is going to Disneyland for a week. Mendoza was diagnosed with Leukemia last year and is now in remission. Today, Make-A-Wish officials surprised Mendoza with toys and a cake.

"We're so grateful and excited and we just feel really blessed. I feel like he really deserves it because he went through a lot so we're just really excited," said Brandon's mom Brittney Mendoza.

"I'm going to California," said Brandon Mendoza.

The Mendoza's will leave for their trip to California on May 28th.
