ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Some kids are cooling off this summer at the fountain in downtown Albany.

The Festival Springs Fountain in Riverfront Park opened this weekend. Several kids brought out their swimsuits to play in the fountain. Visitors from Alabama say they had a great time playing in the fountain.

"We're playing with our cousin, we're trying to avoid all of the water," said Jason McKay.

"It gets me soak and wet," said Gabrielle Page.

"All I want to say is this is the best day ever," said Joshua McKay.

The Fountain will stay open til Labor Day on September 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
