ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

For the second time this week, someone spilled peanut butter on a road in Albany.

A witness tells Dougherty County Police the jars of peanut butter fell off a truck traveling on the Liberty Expressway.

The driver of that truck picked up most of what was spilled, and then left.

The Department of Transportation had to clean up the rest of the peanut butter.

Dougherty County Police say the law requires any driver who spills something on the road to stay on the scene.

If anyone has any information on the driver who spilled peanut butter, they are asked to call Dougherty County Police at 229-430-6600.
