Harveys stores reopen after renovation

Posted: Updated:
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Several Harveys Supermarkets reopened Friday morning, after extensive remodeling.

The stores had been shut down for the last five days for the work.

Harveys is one of several supermarkets across the state that were bought out by BI-LO Holdings.

"[We have] the same smiling faces that customers are used to in the stores and you are still going to have great fresh local produce. Just an exciting ray of selection of variety," said Bi-Lo Sales and Marketing Manager Lisa Overman.

The store will now offer a Senior Citizen discount for customers 60 and older.
