ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Local business owners in Albany were honored with a visit from Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle.

Every year the Small business innovation award is handed out in Georgia.

On Thursday they celebrated the entrepreneurial spirit and the ability for small business to help a community thrive.

This year Stewbo's Group was recognized for its excellence. The celebration took place at Merry Acres.

"Obviously what they have done with the hotel here in renovating it and restoring part of the tradition here in Albany means an awful lot," said Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle.

"We love the people of this town," said Co Owner Bo Henry. "We appreciate everything they do for us. Our employees are the best we could ask for. Without them, nothing like this would be possible."

The group also owns Harvest Moon, The Catch, and Henry Campbell Steakhouse.
