Taylor's Meat Market owner Buddy York says he doesn't see prices coming down anytime soon.
"The salesmen and the companies we deal with," York said. "They've been bracing us for a rough summer. I would expect to see it all the way through the summer and then maybe we will get a little relief."
York says so far he hasn't passed on the higher prices to customers.
Last year's drought, this year's heavy rain and high prices for feed and corn are some of the reasons for the spike.
