Albany man injured in robbery attack

An Albany man was hospitalized after he was robbed and hit in the head while walking in a central Albany street Tuesday night.

Police say Travis Brown suffered a cut on his forehead, when two men struck him with an unknown object while he walking in the 600 block of West Residence Avenue.
Brown said the men took money from his pocket.

Brown was transported by ambulance to the hospital, but they could not provide his condition.

Police say the case remains an active investigation.
