Jones takes District 6 Dougherty commissioner seat
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
A big upset in the Dougherty County Commission District 6 seat. Incumbent
Jack Stone lost to Anthony Jones, who had 64 percent of the vote.
Jones celebrated his victory with his supporters. Jones says he is
ready to get to work and make some changes in his community.

beginning. I talked to all the constituents out in District 6 and I promised
them that I'm ready to listen, learn and lead," said Anthony Jones.
Jack Stone, who was recently named county Vice Chair, held the seat
Anthony Jones will take office in January.
