Big gator found near Putney worries homeowners

PUTNEY, GA (WALB) -

Another alligator has been found along the roads of Southwest Georgia. Police got a call Tuesday afternoon after a 5 foot gator was found in the 2000 block of Hancock Road near Putney.

Witnesses at the scene were able to take some photos of it before officials arrived. The homeowner said they were nervous about it being so close.

There was no immediate word on what would be done about the gator.
