A popular restaurant is helping Georgia burn victims.
Tonight, the Chick-Fil-a in Lee County donated 10% of their proceeds to the Georgia Burn Foundation's burn camp in honor of former Albany Firefighter Dan Harden. He was a big supporter of the camp until he was killed in a motorcycle crash on his way to work last year.
"We're actually involved in it because one of our coworker's husband recently had passed away and he was very involved in it. We just feel like it was something we needed to do to help carry on," said Angel Lavender.
Organizers say it costs about $800 to send a child to the special camp for burn survivors.
