ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Georgia State Patrol is reminding you to wear your seat belt, and not to drink and drive, as you travel this busy Memorial Day weekend.

Tuesday starts the 'click it or ticket' campaign for the 2014 summer travel season. Law enforcement agencies including Georgia State Patrol will be out in full-staff looking for impaired drivers and other violators.

"Travelers will get on the road Friday, headed to the beaches of different locations, headed back Monday afternoon trying to get back. We're just asking everyone to please be careful, buckle up," said Darrel Benton of the Georgia State Patrol.

If you need assistance from GSP, you can contact them on your mobile phone by pressing STAR GSP.
