ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An elderly Albany man is being treated for serious injuries after he was hit by a car while walking around Lake Loretta.     Police say the driver was a drunk teenager.

18-year old Tucker Greenfield veered off East Edgewater Drive just before seven this morning.  His car went over the curb and hit 78-year old Sammy Osley.

Police say Osley suffered serious head injuries.  We're still attempting to get an update on his condition.

Greenfield told police he was drinking at friend's house.

He's scheduled to graduate from high school tomorrow.

Greenfield is charged with DUI, serious injury by vehicle, underage consumption of alcohol and failure to maintain lane.
