ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An equipment and machinery company is celebrating a major milestone.

Yancey Brothers is 100 years old. Employees, their families, and customers celebrated at the Albany location on Slappey Boulevard. Company officials celebrated in Atlanta last week with Governor Deal. The company came to Albany in 1927 as a tractor company and currently employs 141 people in Southwest Georgia.

"Never forget that it's all about the people. It's about earning the trust and confidence of the people that you work with whether those are customers or your employees," said Jim Stephenson, Yancey Bros Co. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

They'll celebrate in Savannah and Augusta in the next couple of weeks.
