ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Tech President Anthony Parker let Dougherty County School Board Members know that most of Albany Technical College's graduates are residents of Dougherty County.

Parker told members he was honored to work with them as they transform the community into the most work ready region of Georgia.

"I'm proud to say that several students enrolled at one of Dougherty County's public high schools graduated this spring.  My vision is that 500 students will graduate from Albany Tech at the same time that they graduate from high school.  Further, I dream of a day when at least 100 high school students earn an associate degree and transition to college as 18 year old juniors."

Parker said that everyone can access this video link to our spring graduation and recognize your students.
