VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

As of Friday night, three Valdosta home invaders remain on the run.

When a man answered a knock at his door at 2203 Pinecliff drive around 3:45 a.m. Friday morning, three robbers forced their way in and held the man and a woman at gunpoint. One of the suspects hit the man in the eye with the gun.

"According to the victim, these three people came to the door, one of 'em knocked, they came to the side, he pushed his way in and had a handgun. While he was inside, the other two came in," said Valdosta Police Department Lieutenant Aaron Kirk.

The home invaders stole about $800 in cash, two iPhones, an X-box, and a purse. Police don't have detailed descriptions of the robbers.
